Welcome to 2014 and the new blog for the J C Edwards website!


As we begin the new year and I reflected on the one that has passed, I realized that I spent very little time on my personal "Julie Catherine" blog in 2013, mostly because of health issues. I didn't have the energy to keep it up, and missed a lot of time when it would have been nice to visit my friends' blogs. I believe my most popular posts were for Valentines Day, and the contest to name my current contemporary romance novel (which is still a  WIP), Forgetting Yesterday.


I know that in many ways, this year will be the same for both my health and my personal blog; and have therefore decided to use the energy I have for my personal writing rather than continue the "Julie Catherine" blog - so in the next week or two, I will be taking it off-line. Now that I have a static home (the J C Edwards website) for my books and book reviews, I've added this blog to my website, and will use it for updates, news and events, so that I can keep in touch with old friends and new - and especially with other writers.


In 2014 I hope to finish my new poetry collection, Essence of Woman, and will continue working on Forgetting Yesterday, as well as continuing to offer free book reviews. In addition, I am offering manuscript critiques at very reasonable rates (please see my Services page); and will also be working on more digital artwork for my Fine Art America site.


I want to thank my friends and followers for your friendship, the wonderful, fun times, your encouragement and all your support.  You are all much appreciated!  May the new year find you in good health, and bring you much success and happiness!
